Big step towards performance verification
Thank you miami craigslist. I found a set of Firestone Wide Oval repro's this morning.
I have been trying to "borrow" a set of f70-15 bias plys with the hope of doing a PV at the next kissimmee regional without any luck. I personally like the look of wider tires and prefer the modern radial ride, so buying a set of bias ply tires for $1k to have the car judged was not going to happen.
Now its time to start working on the short list of operations items...biggest thing to tackle is the fit of my softtop. I think that I have had the top up 5 times in the past year. Spending a ton of money on a new top is not an option.
