how well does your windshield trim fit?
I am in the process of fitting my stainless trim on my windshield frame, the upper frame was replaced due to rust. it all fits well except for the top upper corners. there is a gap where it meets the upper windshield trim. the corners are reproduction but the originals are not much better. I will work it some more to get the gap a little tighter but may just have to put a little sealer there. anyone have pic of how theirs fits?

Hi,
There are lot's of factors in getting all the trim pieces to fit well, but it's possible. A few are....
The way the windshield has been installed (how far it has been spaced from the windshield frame) is one of the most important ones.
Also, the clips that hold the long thin header trim strip need to be installed properly with the correct screws so the flange on the trim strip can slip into to the clips fully.
While a lot of sealer is needed under the chrome plated corner castings you have to be careful that you don't use too much which can limit the casting's ability to seat properly.
It does take a LOT of trial fitting and patience.

Alan
