I've been waving at corvettes from my daily driver beater for over 10 years!!!!
So now that I actually have a 77 vette damn right I'll be waving in the name of admiration, respect and a common love for the corvette that we share!
Snobby you say "Richard"
I say respectful!

We're responsible for the attempt: not the results.

I live in a small town in Southeast Ohio. Unless there's a snowstorm, I might see a Corvette every day. Sometimes, more than one. I wave at everyone that I see. MOST of the time I am driving a School Bus or my DD,(Totota Truck). I would say at least 90% of my waves are returned. Maybe I live in a particularly friendly place or the Corvette Drivers aren't too busy texting or too wrapped up in themselves to return a friendly wave. If someone sees me wave from one of those 2 vehicles, I'm sure they would notice someone waving from a Corvette.
When I do get to drive the Corvette, It puts me in such a good mood that I find myself waving at everything, Corvette or not.
