real gasser-esque type look, early 70s street machine type wheels, be great with a front straight axle and different wheels

Oh yeah! That's it! Put some Halibrands on the front too!

PS: Going to Bakersfield for the March Meet next weekend at the Famoso
Dragstrip and it's nothing but vintage Nitro, Gassers and AA/FA's

Reminds me of a 'crazy' guy here. He daily drives a dual carbed blown 427 '70 nova. Has a full cage, is tubbed and has a powerglide, even has wheelie bars. I will try to grab a pic next time I see it. He drives it without a hood (he has one I have seen it) rain or shine

Whether it's the color, the graphics, or the mods (or maybe the total combination) I'm not feeling this one.

*Gulp* Am I the only one that's still looking for a REAL "Mach V"?

Thank you!!! If you don't mind me asking, are you some kind of "ebay wizard," or did you just search "'74 Split Window Corvette?" I confess I was so bummed, to see the auction taken down, that I was sure it sold, and I never even tried to find it.

Thanks again for the link--I'm really curious as to how this thing will do. Translation: This car will haunt me forever....

Thank you--I'm still looking. So far, I only found a company that sells complete (nonstock) '63 bodies: http://corbinrods.com/1963_corvette_split_window.html .

But I'll keep looking--you've given me hope. LOL

Default And the Winner Is....

And the Winner Is....

1974 CORVETTE CUSTOM 63 SPLIT WINDOW PRO STREET PROJECT

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...0a0c6866#v4-40

Can anyone tell me how I can copy the pics off of ebay? (I want to put them in my "Remorse" file--LOL). When I try to save the pics, there's no "Save Picture As...", etc....

I'd also love to hear people's estimates (or WAG's! ) about what the seller had in this, in terms of P & L dollars (assuming he paid to have it all done, which I doubt, but it'll make the number even higher. )

I feel bad for the guy, and IMHO, a higher reserve would have been advisable. My $0.02.

EDIT: Is it just me, or does the (VERY) short "Bid History" look weird?

Thanks!

You look at the source for the page. Near the bottom, you will find all the links for the pictures, as they end with ".jpg" in the link.

If you click the link, or copy to another browser tab, it will open the picture. The big one has a "35" just before the .jpg and the others have a "14" in there. The "14" is for the thumbnails.

The "35" is still small, so change it to 45 and you will have a decent size picture you can right-click and save.

sounds easy, right?
