The 68's hardtop (which stays in the garage) uses the same cone shaped head studs as the soft-top uses to lock in place. The center bolt is I believe 5/16 coarse thread for the wing nut.
Your hardtop looks awesome as the rest of your car does.
[Just kidding. You have a great looking car with a beautiful paint job. Do you mind me asking how much you paid for that nice of a job?]
Those polished wheels really so set the whole car off with spectacular 'bling'.
I am **** and so was my painter.....car stripped of 3 diff paint jobs by razor blades and paint stripper, body was excellant but smoothed out factory imperfections on front end and seems in rear, new rubber installed and I told him I do not want to tell there has been a color change ( car was white and had 2 other colors under that)
paid $6500.00 and well worth it.....this guy has been in Corvettes all his life..........

There is another recent thread on hardtops but to reiterate that car is just gorgeous. My top is black vinyl and I hope it looks just as nice on my car as yours does.
