Iv read some posts already and it looks like alot of people recommend the manual from helminc, but there 68 corvette manual is out of stock and they have no date of when they will get it back in. So, I looked on ebay and didnt really find one from them but did find this and wondered what people thought.

If not what other manual is decent? I have used Haynes and Chilton and ther ok but like said before there hit and miss. mamotorworks has a vette assembly instruction manual and I am thinking of getting that just dont know if the one on ebay would cover all that aswell and it would just be duplicating infomation. Thanks
That's the assembly instruction manual (AIM) which shows how the cars were assembled at St. Louis. They are handy to have around. They are not published by Helm.
These are/were published by Helm: http://compare.ebay.com/like/280989503067?var=lv<yp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar
Also handy to have around.
There is NO substitute for the Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual. Meaning, you can buy all the other related books, but the CCSM has no equal. Chilton's is for basic tune-up, etc. Haynes is worthless (unless you have no other book).
The AIM is also indispensible, as it shows all the detail for how the car is put together.
