Hey y'all...when I bought my car a couple of months ago this shipping record was in with all the saved paperwork, I glanced at it and thought at the time I would look closer later. I recently had the car appraised and the appraiser said this didn't appear to be for my car but for a grand prix sport coupe, yep says it right there but I believe I have all these options. If this is a Pontiac doc what the heck is it doing with my paperwork, scratching my head now.
Hi,
I'm thinking 66-67 Pontiacs.
I remember "Verbra-Phonic" speakers all too well.
The sound from the rear speaker was "delayed" a fraction of a second, which sorta gave you a "surround sound" effect.
But it actually sounded like you were in a giant tin can.
The fad lasted a couple of years.
Regards,
Alan

Alan,
We used to call those reverberation (reverb) units. It was a novelty for awhile but the echo effect became annoying pretty quickly.
That document refers to a 1962 or 1963 Pontiac Grand Prix. Hydra-matic transmissions were installed until 1964, when Pontiac began offering the Turbo-Hydramatic unit. Also, the console vacuum gauge was placed in Grand Prix's which was a new model in 1962. I'm sure the present owner would like that document back. Unfortunately, that document does not contain the car's VIN number.
