Default 1979 Corvette Battery

My car came with A/c and electric rear window defogger. My question is what battery came with it. 89.5 or 87.5 UAI heavy duty battery code is not on the window sticker NCRS states if you have A/C and Defogger a heavy duty battery should be in the car. Any ideas? Thanks

Look at this link and go to the dealer order guide section about page 34 of 133. Based upon what Mike says below it would not be available as a seperate option and would not be listed since you already get it with the two other options.
UA1 Battery, Heavy Duty: (N/A C49 Defogger w/C60 Air)

UA1 would not be on your window sticker as a separate option if you have RWD and factory air since the heavy duty battery was included with either of these options packages.

If you did not have RWD or factory air, you could order the UA1 as an option.

I do not know what the amperage on the heavy duty battery might have been, but it is likely the actual battery from St. Louis is no longer available.

What exactly happens, I tried it again and it works. You get a blank page and have to use the right side pull down.

It starts a .pdf download. Depending on where you happen to be, the download might be blocked.

According to the NCRS judging manual you got one of 3 batteries.

Std = 430cca

Heavy duty = 465cca RPO Ua1

If you have c60 & c49 = 540cca

Since the heavy duty is the only one with a RPO I guess anyone could order it and pay extra. As for the 540cca since there is no RPO, it must be on the build sheet to install? I could not find out any more information.

Almost certainly. My hunch is Box 47 on the 79 build schedule will show a code for the specific battery to be installed. Tom Russo will know; he knows 73-82 build schedules and codes like the back of his hand.
