I have a 67 Pro street GTO i am working on. I just put Wilwood brakes all around it and the rotors keep getting rusty. I removed them once and cleaned the rust off. Is there something I can put on the surface of the rotors to keep them rust free.
my C5 does this too after sitting for a few days and it's no big deal. First drive around the front wheels will be real dirty but rotors will be back to shiny.
If the calipers with pads are already mounted I would not spray anything onto those rotors. If its just the rotors coat them with oil and clean them before mounting the calipers and pads.
