Hello Chuck and thanks for the nice words. I believe that I am really going to enjoy this car.
Yes my friend did sell his 56. It sold for his asking price of $40,000.00. He seems to be regretting it but I know that he was never going to do anything with it so it is better off in the hands of the new owner.

Hi Jay,
Glad to hear your friend sold his car. Someone got a really nice car.
Best of luck w/your new car,...she's a beauty!!
Regards,
Chuck
Very nice! Glad you plan on changing out the white sidewalls. Good luck with her!
Thanks and can anyone tell me what the correct white letter tires would have been in 1970. I see in the black book that they were an option Nylon F 70/15 but it does not say what type. Were they radials or bias ply. I see a lot of these cars with the BF Goodrich T/A Radials. I would like to put the right WLT on the car.
Your choices were GOODYEAR WIDE TREAD F 70 15 or FIRESTONE WIDE O OVAL. Both were a Nylon Rayon bias belted tire. I believe Coker Tires would be good to contact about these.

Hello Shark,
Thanks for the information. So all of these cars that I see with T/A radials on them are just replacements for the Goodyear or Firestone. Is that correct.
