In my car theres an old Pioneer Cassette Deck the ***** are missing but I guess alot of people used this particular one. Sorry I cant remember the model....But my question is this, in the 78 Corvette is the radio a single din or double din? Or can I just go buy almost any radio and put it in using a wire harness adapter. I need a CD player bad!!! LOL

CD will not fit the stock bezel opening. My advice would be to purchase one of the aftermarket bezels already sized for newer stereos.
