I seem to be missing something. I have all the body bolts and think everything else but there seems to be something around the front of the door area and behind front wheels sticking. I can lift from the back and from the front but the middle is hanging. Seat belts are out, the bolt at the front corners are out. HELP jog my mind....
Hi,
It's under the car in the transmission tunnel.
Is the shifter hanging up on the inner shifter boot? Maybe the shifters not there? Are engine and transmission still in place?
A fuel line, vapor line, or brake line?
Speedometer cable?
Ground strap?
Regards,
Alan

Motor and tranny are in the car. Brake lines are unhooked, speedometer cable is off. Shifter is in place I will go check for the seat belt bracket. It something fairly solid because it wont seam to lift much at the front of the door.

There is one in front of the firewall, one behind the firewall ( behind the kick panel), one just behind the doors and the one on the rear kick up area.
Hi,
I agree, the Assembly Manual is EXTREMELY handy to refer to while doing the work required to remove a body from the frame.
Regards,
Alan
I do have and have been using an assembly manual but they really dont provide a step by step. I wish someone TOFTT and did a step by step from start to finish. Of course I just jumped in and starting tearing it apart the same day it hit my driveway. Anyway, tonights the moment of truth!
