Hey Tony,
I think everyone is having more stress and anxiety these days.
Could be less ptsd and more of what we are all experiencing.
Get the Harley running so you can feel the wind, the sunshine and bug splats on your face.
You'll be fine.
I like the way you think,

I was just hanging on by my fingertips...I did pull my face back to view the road and lived to tell this story. My recommendation is to duck if you see those bugs coming...FYI no it didnt knock any sense into me ...obviously
No bug splatter on foerhead = June Bug
Bug splatter on forehead = Bumble Bee
Bug splatter on teeth while grinning has very sweet taste = Yellow Butterfly
I had a yellow jacket hit me in the neck one day.
It didn't die, but I thought I was going to because it dropped into my shirt, was pissed and started stinging me in the chest,
I couldn't get to the side of the road and strip off my shirt fast enough.
Good times.

Reminds me of a buddy that had an old van with the little wing windows. No A/C driving with foot up on dash in baggy shorts. Bee hits the wing window, bounce in and up his shorts, hen the stinging begins......lol it’s a great story
On Monday I got stung by a scorpion as I was lying on the garage floor connecting the half shafts on the 68. It actually got me twice. Turned out it was a bark scorpion. One of the more venomous varieties that we have in Arizona. Ah, the pleasure of living in the desert southwest.

early 80's i was teaching my then-girlfriend to ride. 500 Triumph. wasp went down her shirt and stung her. she managed to get on grass and stop before jumping off and dumping the bike in it's side. good thing too. it was one of her first paint jobs. she is now one of the foremost custom bike painters on the planet. http://www.crazyhorsepainting.com/index.shtml

I used to build and show custom Harley's.
I know her work.
Just setting here looking at the Puter. Noticed, I haven't seen any posts from DG. Hope that All is Well.

Bill...thanks locating my thread (for me )
Every year for months I have to deal with Nam PTSD and the killing of my son by an Illegal Alien. I have tried to work on the car but make too many mistakes...then I have to repair my own errors.
Eventually the PTSD slacks off and I can work on it again.....which has taken up to 9 months
Glad to see you still plugging away at it Tony! Mine has finally been out in the street a couple times, only to end up back in the garage on blocks again. Still need to adjust steering & brakes, but then we should be ready to start running up the odometer! I did make one goal I had set, which was to have it out front (under it`s own power), by the time.....

Hey Tony. Its good to hear from you!! I still havent taken the differential fully apart to see the full damage on my CARS rear end, I know I need to be specific with the members around here. Yes My rear end has a crack in it thanks. But I did find a sharks tooth size piece of metal floating around in the sludge after I drained it. I'll be starting a thread this winter on the rebuild.
