The Escalade is sitting in the garage with a LARGE puddle of coolant directly under the water pump!
I may as well have some fun with it by........... .............
LOWERING THE HARDTOP AND DRIVING OVER TO THE NEARE.......ERRRRRR.......FARTHEREST PARTS STORE IN THE AREA FOR A WATERPUMP AND COOLANT!
...may have to stop at S O N I C for a chili-cheese dog....RVZIO---ya want me to pick one up for you?
That's the first time I've repaired a "modern engine"...I was impressed that I didn't have to remove the A/C...the P/S....the ALT....the B/S.....or the SPARE.........in order to change the W/P...(reminds me of my '68 & '34)...L/O/L/!

Mission accomplished on the waterpump.......................

I "forgot" to buy the coolant........and had to make a second trip () to the (fartherest) parts house!
Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd....it was only a one-minute project to use the new ceiling hoist to put the hardtop on the car (original pic)....I may be able to give my bottle of Aleve to my neighbor now!
Thanks Men......for the hoist idea.....best $125 I ever spent!
