A few years back my credit card got hacked....all the stuff was bought online.... I called one of the vendors and tracked the delivery address to an office in San Diego. Finally tracked down the guy who rented the space.
He told me he had answered an add on Craigslist .... The items were shipped to his address and he shipped them out to locations like Brazil and Italy ...for a nominal fee.
the guy seemed genuine on the phone ... I really think he had been scammed....he just wasn't the sharpest tack in the box... Anyway I let the credit card company and San Diego police handle it...
Don't be surprised if someone thinks this is a scam....it has been done before ..to me

Ernie from Willcox Corvette is a great guy...he has the parts AND can give advice on what you need and how to install...he ACTUALLY works on these cars unlike the other vendors. btw...."requested" would have worked better than "required" in your thread title...LOL, good luck with the car, Rick

Good point...there are some very "creative" people out there and so many ways to take people's money... I can now understand why people would be wary of a post like mine.. I just never thought about the scam potential!! I am looking forward to being a long term member of this forum.. the car will certainly have its challenges!!
