Started on this one in late January so I thought it may be time for some updates. All I got in this deal was a body and frame !!!
Thanks,

Norm, liking the flares. This one going big block too. This is Scott, I got your old rear bumpers a while back. You are a glutten for punishment aren't cha? Keep up the good work.
Scott
Hi Scott and all the other members. Yes, I am looking to punish myself with another crazy project. Tough road to follow if I hope to one up myself from the last vet. As far as power, yes, another big block. Ordered the 6 point roll bar last week so maybe the track officials will stay off my butt. Looking at Shafiroff power from their 540 with a 695HP power rating. This month is one year of work and maybe a couple more to completion. Thanks to all for the kind words. More to follow I hope.
Love the flares and the HP you are going to power this 68 with!! I do have to ask a dumb question though.... The gill flip - was this done for increased airflow, unique style point? Keep up the great work - can't wait to see more pictures!

Good question Lupigiato. Tired of looking at the same design so I went with my version and just maybe they will allow a little better air evacuation from within the engine bay. Time will tell. Thanks for the question.

Tie down hook and reinforcement for front frame crossmember.
Awesome work my man, superb craftsmanship... Why did you trim the battery/jack boxes???
Rogman
Hi Rogman,
Box trim job was a result of better looks from the rear and I always relocate my battery in the engine compartment on starter side of motor. That way my cables are very short and handle loads better. The jack is something I hope I never need. If it breaks, call Hagerty!
Thanks for the question,
Norm
