Hi Lupi,
On the drivers side, I covered a larger area of the firewall because we knew where all the holes would need to be. On the passenger side, not as high due to vintage air going in. Several areas will need to be cut out for air box and lines to pass through. I can go back later and finish it off.
Thanks for asking,
Norm
Hi Gunther,
The upper a-arms are part of the suspension package from Speed Direct. Better known as SHARK-BITE coil over front and rear package. And yes, the caster is adjustable. Here are a couple of pics.
Hope this helps,
Norm
Hello again Brandon,
The price , I think , is very reasonable. $1150 for a pair and that includes everything. You can look him up on Ebay under Corvette offset trailing arms. He has a super good rating and I can see why. All you do is bolt these on and no dealing with E-brake adjustment or bearing tolerance. Well worth the money in my opinion.
Hope this helps,
Norm
Had to custom build my safety loops for half shafts and driveshaft. The new offset trailing arms were a little bit of a challenge but plasma cutters and welders will work wonders. Hardest part is bending six loops to match up.

I will keep watching this post and when you are all done I will give you my 68 vert for a complete redo. I wouldn't wan those fab skills to go rusty great job man
Thanks guys for the thumbs up on this project. Dropped the bullet in today. Got back from Shafiroff at one AM Saturday. Numbers on dyno were pretty good. Had 706 on torque and 742 for horsepower. Not bad for a hydraulic cam setup. Sorry I missed the ZIP show but man my old body was due for some snooze time. Drove up Thursday night for a 9 AM Friday dyno and never got any sleep. Loaded the motor and drove straight back to Virginia. Hope you like !!!
Hey Norm, sorry you missed ZIP would have liked to meet you. I can certainly understand why. The motor looks fantastic. That will be some wild ride when you are done. Keep up the great work.

I absolutely love the work that you're doing. That motor should be a monster which should push the limits on your 10 second rollcage. A good problem to have. i also now understand why you went with the big scoop, cowel hood.
I really like the custom mounts for the safety loops. I have a more stock setup but never liked the security of the loops. I always thought they'd fall off before the shafts would.
I might have missed it earlier but did you paint or replace the gas tank? If paint, did you use the Eastwoods coating?
Hello CA,
To answer your question, the tank is new from ZIP Corvettes. My old one was too far gone to save. Hope this helps and thanks to all the members that follow this build. I still have a long road ahead. My bank account took a big hit these last two months with my daughter getting married and a trip to Shafiroff !!!!!

Completed a couple more small projects so time to post more pics. Fuel system from Aeromotive is bolted down with rubber bushings. Water pump, starter and goose neck on engine. One ground station mounted in rear for everything on that end of the car. Turbo 400 by Rossler is being built, two weeks out. Torque converter from Pro Torque due any day. Hope to remount body for last time by late July. Money and patience have run out, still got time on my side if I can keep waking up above ground each morning!!!!
