Bought a keg of beer today for all my rowdy friends, but they had to earn it. Put the body back on for I hope, the last time. Worth it to have all those extra hands.

Couple of updates on this project. All of the plumbing and AC lines are complete. A ton of wiring has been installed but plenty more to come. I put the Ron Francis fuse panel in the rear drivers compartment. So far the supplied wiring has been sufficient to reach front to back with no problems. My big concern was having to add extra wire for some of the long runs. Headlights are wired in along with the electric motors to raise and lower. Gauges and sending units are next on my list. Motor has been fired, just ask the neighbors.
Thanks,
Norm

How do you like the Ron Francis set up bringing the wires back to the box?

To answer VSTOL's question, so far the relocation of my fuse box has been a breeze. I will never mount another one under a dash. The supplied wiring has been more than sufficient to make all my connections and no load issues up to this point. Motor and all accessories have been tested and seem to be working great. Access and visibility has been a dream !!!
Thanks,
Norm

A small update. Gauges for drivers side dash are complete. Center cluster is still missing the oil temp but should be here soon. Next problem is making all this fit since the steering is all aftermarket.
Thanks,
Norm

Default FRANKENSTEIN,S CONSOLE From Hell

This poor console has been cut apart so many times, it has earned the Frankenstein name. What you see is still a very rough version of what I am trying to achieve. The heat and AC controls will go in beside the shifter. Couple more switches like the electric headlights and ejection button. Slowly, more to come.

Default Ejection button?!?!

I didn't think you were going to put a seat in for your wife?

As I have seen from your other projects, this is just a teaser; an attempt to make us all feel like its not as easy as it may appear for you to make the final product look so good.

Looks good. What steering column and length did you go with as well as what brand is the starter panel? Thanks Kevin

Hi Kevin,
The starter panel came from www.wiringproducts.com. The steering column is from Ididit and part number 1120700010 in steel. It is supposed to be a direct bolt in for a 1968 vet. I did have issues with it but probably because everything on this car has been modified. Hope this helps and thanks for asking.

Hi Norm, this is going to be a wild ride for sure. I believe I will hear that car from here in Roanoke. Tell me you will bring it to the ZIP show this year. Great build.
