Default Diff axial play?

Im not talking about the linear play in the yokes. In one of my yokes I seem to have a small about of axial play, I can feel and hear tiny movement before it "catches" un like the other side which feels like one unit. The halfshafts are off and the play is soooooo slight but im not sure if its normal?

Radial play? I guess some wear in the outer yoke bearing. Any signs of fluid seepage at the seal? If not, you could get away with leaving it. Although if you're taking it apart anyway, I'd go ahead and replace the outer bearings.

Let me clarify. It almost feels like as you start to turn the yoke ever so slightly it doesn't feel solidly connected. Like there's a slight delay before the splines in the yoke catch. If just feels that way. I'm not saying there's play in the male and female splines. Just curious as to how one side and not the other seems to have this eve soooo sliiiiight delay

Maybe play (wear) in the spider gear, then?

A little history. Was not able to drive the car to verify the diff was ok. Just drove it around the yard before doing this frame off resto
I replaced all seals including yokes side and front as well as cover seal
I never thought to look for this situation before I took it apart so I'm not sure if it were already there. Diff gas new fluid with posi additive but will probably not be driven for two years. So I guess now you'll be the time to correct anything but I'm not so sure any things wrong?
Any chance this could have something to do with the front yoke but not being tight enough?

"Front yoke" meaning pinion gear? No, no connection.
