Default Rough 69 Pics

Pulled the motor from the chassis yesterday and snapped a few pics to share. Pretty rough but certainly fixable. Hope to get it all disassembled in order to send it out for sandblasting soon.

Big project (like you don't already know that).
Love the pics, keep them coming as you progress.
Good luck, stay focused.

Thanks Tokim. I already replaced the windshield frame and the rocker channels. And I straightened the body, fit the bumpers and gapped the doors before removing the body from the frame. Long way to go but I've built up a war chest and have a lot of new parts in hand. Rick

Hi Rick,
It looks like you're well into a serious project.
A 69 L46 convertible will certainly be worth the effort and $$ though!
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan

Please don't take this the wrong way... I believe I wouldn't have worked on the body, set the gaps, and aligned the bumpers, until the chassis had the new pucks and shims on it. It would have taken an extra step, but might be worth it in the end.

Thanks Alan! The body is really only roughed in. I figured there could be some more adjusting later. It was so far out that now at least now it's a lot closer. Rick
