1968 interior code
I have a question for all. I have a 68 427 conv with exterior code 988 cordovan maroon and a interior code 421 saddle leather. This color combo is not listed in any book that I can find. Car was made in Nov. 67. How can I find out how rare this combo is?

My new 68-69 NCRS Judging Guide says 421 Saddle was "added during the production year; date is unkown."
No production numbers.

I've seen it mentioned that saddle was thought to have become available in the spring of 68. If you have it in a November car, you might have one of the earliest examples of the saddle.

I've seen 1968 saddle door panels that were dated May 67 on a March 68 build car. I don't know if the door panels were original to the car, but the May 67 build date sure looked original.
