Roger,
What are you trying to do, replace it?

I'm not at home to check for you but I have the same car. I cross-checked on the web and came up with this number; OEM Part #: 3966594 but again do not now where it would be located on the support itself. If you look at many of the vendors listings, you "may" be able to match it by visual reference to see if you have the right one. Have to be carefull because some of the listings may just be a generalized picture and not really the exact one. May be better to search by the part number and possibly find one someone is selling that has a picture of it.

The real reason for my question back to you is that I have replaced mine with a new one. My old one is probably useable if you wanted it, you are more than welcome to it. There is some bondo accross the bottom lip but I never chipped it out to see what was under it. Could be welded or fixed again if you wanted to go that route.

Oh and no charge for the support but I wouldn't be able to get it out till about the 2nd week in Jan.

Terry

Hi r,
What part are you calling 'support bracket'?
The aluminum radiator bottom has 2 'pegs' that fit into small round rubber bushings that fit into 2 small brackets that are part of the core support.
The top of the radiator is held by a single bracket in it's center with a rubber bushing that bolts to the top surface of the core support.
Regards,
Alan

I agree. After seeing easymike's post, I started wondering if it is the "bracket" (that holds the radiator to the support) or the "support" (that the radiator rests against and mounts to with the two rubber bushings at the bottom) you're looking for.

Hi r
3966591 is the core support.
I believe there are 3 core supports in 69:
one for the aluminum radiator
one for the 26 1/2" copper radiator
one for the 27 1/2" copper radiator
If you want a new reproduction support try Coffman Corvettes.
Regards,
Alan

There are two "brackets". One mounts the radiator. The second mounts the fan shroud. The AIM shows both.
