Hello again to everyone. Some questions. What are your thoughts about using rubber body mounts vs the stock solid mounts for 1971. Also who makes the best replica vacuum lines.? Dr rebuild ? How do I upload photos to this site with iPad. Thanks again
Didn't notice any difference in ride or handling. Not sure why GM use the solid ones for a few years. Could have been something to do with structural issues in coupes verses roadsters, but I don't have any concerns. Most posts I have seen on the subject recommend changing to the more modern rubber mounts.

It is my understanding the change to rubber body mounts came as a result of the decision to go to radial tires for 1973. Apparently the rubber isolated some of the earlier creaks and groans.
Someone can chime in, but I believe the rubber mounts are about 1/8" taller than the solid mounts.

I noticed a better ride in my '71 after switching to rubber mounts. Yes, they are a bit taller, but there's enough adjustment in the steering column and bumpers to make it work.

CF (and most forum sites) do not want to host photos. What you want to do is create a free account on a photo hosting site, like photobucket, and upload your photo's there. Once the photo's are there, then you can 'paste' the link to the photo into your posts here. I'm sure there is a photobucket app for your ipad.
What that means is, every time that a person opens a thread with photo, then photo is downloaded from the photo hosting site to the users browser, and not from CF.
