Hi,
Happy New Year!
There are often threads about how many miles an owner has driven in the last year. I'm always embarrassed to even reply because my number is always so LOW.
So....how about a list of how many miles in TOTAL you've driven this car since you've owned it?
I'll start 46,036.
Regards,
Alan
I am certain that that number is incorrect...rumor has it that there should be approx. 94,000 miles (broken odometer which I have repaired).
Now.....as for the total miles that I have driven it since I acquired it in Oct. '13................00000.1 LOL (the dash wiring was too butchered to risk a harness fire)
54,2XX miles (original brake pads makes me think odometer is correct)

Alan, I bought my 68 coupe when it was 4 years old, in July of 1972 and had 22,000 miles on it. It was my daily driver for 4 1/2 years after a divorce in 1977. It has 113,432 miles now, so I have put 91,000, grinning from ear to ear, miles on it. Lou.
I've personally put about 24K miles on mine since November 13th 2005. It currently only has 18K miles on the odometer making it another low mileage C3!!!

I bought mine 9 years ago this month with 104 thousand plus on the clock.
I just fired it up earlier this morning for the first time in 4 weeks to meet other Corvette friends for breakfast. The roads have been snow-filled and like many North American communities, colder-n-a-witches-breasticle.
Forgot to mention that sun came out over a few days, melted, and dried snow enough to take the car out for a hop.
Now reading (1)48,132. This is within 30 minutes of this post's time stamp.

Not sure if readable, but this is the whole nine yards and no mistake.....
28487.......I used it from 1968 to 1973 until the 5 year warrantee expired. All but approximately the miles from 0 to 200 was with a dealer installed new 1968 L-88 short block.......and its still in the Vette
About 1000 - every time my polished turd is taken out, another issue shows up. Starting to get old. I have basically replaced everything on the car but still something always happens. I have owned nearly 400 cars over the past 35 years and have had more issues out of this Corvette than anything I have ever owned. As much as I love Corvettes, this one is about to belong to someone else.
When I got the 78, it had 47k miles on the odometer, which was not operative (bad CC transducer). I drove it about a year like that and then fixed the CC. The car now lists ~93k miles, so figure ~50-60k. I drove it as my only car from 99-05, when I bought my 2nd car, a 2002 Corvette (pictured left, but sold in 2006).
One owner 75, 39 years of driving and i end with with 45,811 total miles.
That is 1,746 miles a year average. Starting to drive it a lot more since retirement tho.
Think i need to clean the air duct also.
