Trying to put all of my vacuum hoses in from Wilcox on my 72, when I came across this issue up near the passenger side windshield wiper. There's a 'T' in the yellow hose that's not shown in my diagram, so I'm not exactly sure how to handle it. I don't even know if it's supposed to be there or if it's just a hack. Thanks! See picture below:
Hi t,
The 1/8" hose running off the T is the vacuum supply for the heater/defroster control on the shifter console in the interior.
The hose runs through a single grommet in the fire wall to get into the interior.
I'd think you'll need to have it in your new hose.
It's shown in the AIM in UPC 1asm, Sheet M3, Item 9.
Regards,
Alan

Here's were the hose passes through the firewall.
Thanks Alan, that helps a lot. I think I need to order another hose kit, I don't think mine has enough hoses for everything in the dash/control section.
My car is a '71, so it may be plumbed differently than yours. BUT, on mine, one of those three hoses coming from the wiper safety switch is only a VENT hose; it sticks out from the firewall only about an inch and then is cut off--open to the air. I don't believe that all three hoses should be connected.
