Default Radiator Attachment ID Required

Hi

I am hoping someone may be able to assist me in identification of an attachment to my radiator.

I own a 73 corvette that has had the engine replaced. The engine has the following code V0402TBC which indicates it is either a 165 or 255 HP 350 small block.

The attached photos show an attachment to my radiator which connects to the steel tuning beneath the car and I want to confirm what it is as I intend to install air conditioning in the car.

Thanks for any assistance that you might be able to provide.

Cheers

Per my '07 ZO6 and my F250HD pickup, the trans cooler goes in front of the AC condenser.

If you're asking about my post re: the ZO6 & F250, yes factory for both vehicles. But I was in error with the Z. It has the ENGINE oil cooler in front of the AC condenser. The manual trans cooler is in the radiator as with most auto trans coolers.
Sorry if I confused anybody. The intent was to say front to back: oil cooler, AC condenser, radiator.

That is not the factory cooler. The original cooler to the trans was in the radiator through the two tubes as on my 73 pictured below.

Thanks Donnie. Definitely aftermarket. But good to see a picture of what the original looked like.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the reply. Given that the original set-up for a 73 had the oil cooler contained within the radiator and that the condenser is attached in front of the radiator is there any reason why in my case the condenser could not be installed in front of the oil cooler i.e. front to back: AC condenser / oil cooler / radiator?

I'm sure it would work that way, whether or not it would be as efficient, I don't know. My point was merely that two manufacturers of two entirely different vehicles chose to put the oil cooler in the front. Surely they had their reasons. What they are/were, I don't know. Possibly only for packaging ease, or possibly for more efficiency of the entire system.
