Why do you even need to ask people to be kind? because you fear some troll will pop by just to trash it?
Yeah, I hear you but the forum has come a long way not too much bashing of mods now days because that is the direction things are going with many c3's.
That first picture made me think it had no wheels or tires, lol, I cant decide if I like the blacked out wheels or not, I'm thinking it's a cool look in person,
I dont like white cars but this one looks sweet, the only thing I dont like is the grand sport hash marks on any car other than the GS.
I do dig the message across the rear window...very old school and I do love old school

Hot rodding was established by one person thinking outside of the "box" or the current norm.
I did a very radical paint job on our 1981 Chevy shortbox shop truck with candies, murals and a wee bit of pearl along with Moon disc wheel covers. When I finally sold the truck the true opinions of my collegues came out telling me it was "over the top" for the time...
I was OK with that as I built the truck the way I wanted it and did not care of other peoples likes or dislikes. In my own opinon when you reach that point in your life it become less and less of what others think. You will become a real hot rodder when you will accept any comment regardless of likeing your car or not. It does not matter who says what.
Believe it or not it's is really OK to be an individual. Do your own thing.
