Just wanted to make sure I did this correctly before they go together tomorrow. With the setup tool I have .001 of what I call end-play or in and out movement in the tool. This gave me .0015 of run out. I had to shave the .132 shim down to .128 on one side and got lucky on the other with the original shim that was at .111. Does this sound correct? The end-play part is what I'm not sure about.

Yes, .001 end play with lightly oiled bearings. With them grease packed and installed, don't be surprised if you don't feel any end play.

Thanks for the reply. I had read that the spindle was going to be a little tight but the set up tool sure doesn't feel tight. It does fell right. I guess I just thought it would be tighter after what I have read.
