95 Camaro?
Looks like a good fit - and more comfy.

Not even warm. Yes they are like chalk and cheese in the comfort levels! They are the same width as the original seats.
Any one else wanna have a guess?

If anyone would like to fit a set of these themselves I can provide drawings and parts info for this seat replacement.

I designed 2 brackets out of 6mm(1/4") flat bar and for accuracy I had them laser cut.

Sorry. I would only do it if the replacement seats were Bright Blue like the rest of that interior. Too nice of a color to stick grey seats in there...even if they are much more comfortable. (Just my opinion, though--which is what I thought you were asking for.)

As I said, this is a 'trial only'! The next thing is to aquire new covers and recolour them to bright blue as I can't even get blue covers.

Those will look great!
How do they compare height-wise?

Once recovered, those seats will be fine.

They look similar to Porsche "Tombstone" seats.

They are only slightly higher, maybe 1" to 1 1/2''.

Yep I had a 2006 Miata and the seats are the most comfortable (long distance) I've ever had. Unfortunately I don't have an extra 1 1/2" of head room in my '78 or I'd grab a set in a heartbeat!

Please, I could use drawings and parts list to mount a pair in my 69.
