Default new help...

Hello! Tell me how to cut out the windshield at the C3? Do I need to remove the wings or do not have to? Thank you

Not sure what you mean by wings.... but there are several methods to remove the glass.

We have a heated knife for doing this job, and your not going to have one of them I'm pretty sure so we'll go with basic DIY'r stuff. Piano wire wrapped around two screw drivers will work but you must be careful around the dash pad. We had a customer cut his using this method.

Or a simple glass removal tool will work too.

You can get one of these at your local parts house or maybe Sears.. I'm not sure. Probably around the 20 - 30 dollar range.

by winds are you describing the filler weatherstrips at the bottom of the glass.... If so, I would remove them so you don't damage them when cutting the glass out.
