Ok guys I'm back. After talking to the insurance company I need help on which way to go with this and your opinion matters! I have $17,000 in receipts in my hand with roughly another $10,000 in receipts missing. $10,343 in the engine alone. How much do you think I could get for this car as is with the rear end damage? I'm trying to decide if I want to buy it back and sell it as is (still retaining a clean title) or let them take it and they will give me 50% of my engine receipts on top of the value of the car. They will not take any receipts other than motor and tranny and they will not accept the receipts if I'm buying the car back.

I'm a little late to the show here.....sorry for your loss. You must be so frustrated after spending so much time and money on your car....such a shame.
