The present day equivalent of the F70-15 tire is a 215-70-15 tire.
This tire is very close to height and width of the original.
By today's standards it looks a bit skimpy because the present tire has 'rounded' shoulders, while the F70 tire has very 'square' shoulders which fill the wheel well opening a bit better.
Many people use a 225-70-15 tire which gives a good appearance.
Your present tire is close to that, (it's a little taller and wider), and might be fine for your situation and tastes.

Thank you Alan. The tires on the car now look good and they do fill the wheel well nicely but I think they might be a smidge too big....I'm afraid they might rub with a hard turn.
