1969 bb finally done
I am the guy, some may remember, that flew to Fl. last Sept. (13) and bought a Daytona yellow 427. It is memorable because it blew up (spun a rod bearing) 75 miles into my trip home to Va.!!
Well, I have been working on it since then and have put over $14,000 into it. Only the motor, tranny, frontend, and a few odds and ends like the odometer and carb. rebuild were 'farmed" out. I did everything else. It didn't need paint. I am no mechanic by any stretch of the imagination, but I am a heck of a parts changer!!! So now that it has approx. 500 miles on it, it's time to sell. These old cars, trucks, and Harley's (Panheads) are my hobby. I buy 'em, fix 'em up and sell 'em. I am lucky to break even on them financially but that's not why I do it. It keeps me home and outta trouble!!! Ever since that 1966 GTO I had when I was 16 years old, I've been hooked. Man did we have THE CARS back then!!!

There's a family heirloom, original, '50 FL in my neighbor's basement that will never be sold, at least by the next two generations. It hasn't seen daylight in probably 20 years.

Great car.........when are you going to SETTLE DOWN and spend a month touring the U.S. ?
nice car..

Very nice job.
Hood is really interesting never saw an L-88 hood morphed with a 67 scoop. I like the look though.
Enjoy it man then sell it life's too short.
Buy a goat done and get out there and smell the gas tires and oil.

Glad you got the car up and running again. Can you post a video so we can hear it run?
