Default Starter shield

Can anyone show a picture of an original 71 bb starter heat shield? Are there part numbers on them?
Thanks

Here's the original LS-5 big block heat shield and bracket from my June 1970 car. Sorry for the poor quality of the bracket pics. Not a '71, but I hope it helps answer your questions. No part number.

72 shield looks pretty much identical so I'd say safe bet the 71 is the same

Thanks guys. Jim yours looks chromed. Mine is metal with black paint. Mooser, yours is chromed also? If so mine must be a repro.

LOL, mine's powder coated gun-metal, probably not the right guy to ask for original

I've got an old picture here and it looks like it was just a dull gray before, but this car's had a rather checkered past

Fred,

The cover is stainless steel. It was pretty nasty-looking when removed from the car, but cleaned up easily with a bit of Mother's metal polish. Here are a couple of pics of the shield before cleaning.
