Default T-Tops

Does anyone but me think T-Tops are a crummy idea and a royal pain in the neck?

I officially hate them.

Sorry Tim, I`m at the opposite end of the spectrum.... I LOVE the T-tops! The best of both worlds, it`s a hard top AND a convertible! I love that "sugar scoop" rear window area.

The only thing I hate is the fear of dropping one, cracking the glass.

What is there not to like? All the benefits (rigidity) of a coupe with very nearly all the sun-soaking capability of a convertible.

Love them.

Great idea and pretty darn awesome execution, I think.

Love my AM T-Tops. I looked long and hard to find them. Far superior to the aftermarket t-tops now being offered. Uses the stock mounting holes and metal factory type clamps. NO Velcro!

I've been told you are allowed to buy the convertible if you prefer it...

You could try lowering the seat by having some custom tracks made, alternately, if you take the T-tops off, you'll have more headroom and you may find it helps get rid of that pain your getting in your neck

Another vote for t-tops. They've got a style that people associate with Corvette.

I don't take mine off that much but I still like looking up through that glass roof. Another vote for the tops.

The t-tops are one of the coolest things about the C-3. I wouldn't want it any other way.

When I first got mine I had the T tops out a lot. Hardly do it now. Too much of a hassle. I still love the darn things though. They're like having lots of horsepower. I don't make use of it very often but it's nice to know it's there.

My first car with t-tops was an 86 Mustang GT, They were smaller and easier to handle, I LOVED that car, I haven't even driven our C3 yet but I already know I LOVE t-tops. like it's already been said, best of both worlds. On a cool day you can take the tops off, keep the windows up and still enjoy the crisp spring or fall weather.

Pop off the T-Tops and and remove the rear window and it's instantly a convertible. I LOVE IT!!!

I just take my car out on nice days so I rarely have them on. Love the open feeling. Also I am 6' 2" and it is a lot easier to get in and out of the car with the off.
Love em. If I didn't then I would just leave them on all the time and not worry about it.
