Default Alignment?
My 1978 drives straight on the freeway however while cruising on the freeway if I take my foot off the gas it pulls a bit. Is that an alignment issue?

are you in the center of a multi lane freeway otherwise there are crowns that will cause drifting.

I was driving home and was in the middle lane most of the way home when I noticed it

Check your rear trailing arms, once you "unload" the drivetrain, they may have play in the bearings causing your 4 wheel alignment to change.

I agree w/the above post. From my reading the rear has a lot to do w/the tracking of the car.

Worn trailing arms will often cause it to dance/drift when you get on it. Either way it's time to talk to a good alignment shop. Not easy to find with an old Vette
