I totally agree. Since I was a kid back in the sixties I have been and still am a huge fan of the early space program.
There were a lot of bad things going on in this country and overseas like civil unrest and Vietnam. But damn it! If it wasn't a great time to be an American!

Actually it appears to be his personal car. Some quick research showed him with it in several photos (sporting Austrian plates) and there is some reference to having treated himself after winning Mr. Universe!

Now where are the photos of the Apollo astronauts, Kim Bassinger, Jay Leno, etc? Jimmy Hendrix apparently owned a couple of early C3s in his time!
