Seems like most use velcro which is what I used. Not the thin stuff but industrial I bought at Lowes. I painted the cover & it has been on since 03 without a problem.

Mines also an Eckler cover. i used Velcro to hold mine on, others use screws. you need to get your wipers in the up position before fitment. I decorated mine a bit, others paint theirs or leave em stock.
