You might want to check the height of the Edelbrock carb, versus the Holley's as well.

I don't think so. The Air Gap is a good deal taller than the regular Performer manifold. My Edelbrock Performer and a Holley 650 were such a tight fit, that I was forced to remove the rubber seal on the underside of the hood. It was within a 1/8", because when I cut up the seal, that's how much I ended up with and it still wouldn't close. Ultimately, I removed the whole cowl induction out of the hood.
