Was this standard on a C3 cars from '68 to '82, or were there years where it was an option?

Hi,
I believe positraction became standard for the 1970 model year.

I agree Tom. Maybe it's just getting old but when the cars came out they were referred to by year and engine, 62 fuelie, etc. Then the 63 split window stingray. Where does all this C numbers come from?

I also have a 72 Porsche 911 and some people are doing the same thing with these older models, something about a -491? Maybe it's , "I know something you don't".
