Neither. The core support, firewall, engine compartment surfaces and wheelwells were all painted with 'blackout' paint. And that would be most like semi-FLAT or satin black paint. My present preference for those items is John Deere 'Blitz' black spray paint.

Thanks for the info. I work at a Deere dealership Blitz Blake is popular with the Rat Rodders. I also think it matches well with factory satin black. I just couldn't tell with the fade and age what type it was

Call MSC I think the price is like 4.75 a can The Krylon 1613 is discontinued for retail use but is still available through industrial distributors like MSC
