Very nice car for sure. But because it is the last C-3 convertible, And is so original with such low miles. The only way to really preserve its value is as a total trailer queen. I don't think its value is solely in its being the last convertible, But in a combination of that and its low milage and originality which I am no expert on. 85 k for a car that I can't drive? I personally think they should have left it at the Corvette museum. Thats were it belongs. IMHO
The VIN matches the one documented in Birthplace of Legends. The car has interest since it is the last C3 convertible and is otherwise original, but I think the asking price is high.
Hi WB,
What would it's value be if it were:
A coupe?
The next to the last convertible?
As someone who is interested in old Corvettes I really want to care about this car…. but I don't.
Regards,
Alan

Hi Alan,
As I'm not really a fan of linking auction ads of others, I found this one to be of interest. I do like the shape of the convertibles, but by 75 the motors were, well.....
with you, I really don't care much for it........
Is the strange? It's a vette, a significant one too?

Let's start with the first paragraph. This is pasted directly from the ad. What is it really saying?
" This Corvette is finished in "Classic White" the is all original and looks absolutely stunning. The body is totally solid, straight and free of an previous damage. All panel gaps, shut lines ect look excellent. Very original car and a true survivor car. All original car that is sure to please any Corvette or classic car collector."

The seller has a problem with the English language.
The seller is a luxury car dealer in Scottsdale so I am sure he doesn't know that much about Corvettes. He is just fishing for a sucker. I can't see a 75 convertible selling at that price even if it is the last convertible.
