Interested in painting my 69 corvette rally wheels a darker shade of gray (maybe metallic gray)? I really like the color on the Torque Thrust rims but have yet to find something thats not to dark. Anyone done something similar or tried out a new color other than rally wheel gray?
Mine are painted the same 1974 Bright Yellow as the body. I don't know how well this would look with other body colors, but it's subtle enough that I really like the look on mine... well, you know, as subtle as a bright yellow corvette can be.
Had to match the color of these wheels for the grille inserts. Didn't want to go to the trouble of painting them so had them powder coated. Powder coater ended up using a color called anthracite, real close match. Might be a bit darker than what you're looking for but might be a option.
