Default 73 dash question
Should the main wiring harness run over or under the steering column?

Default Dash harness
Just like it is. It will sit on top of the speedo & tach housings as well. You need an AIM which will give you a good reference.

There are hanger clips on the back of the speedo and tach that hold it up relatively high on the dash.

And you will need to get it positioned just right or the dash won't go back into position. Can be a royal pain. Get yourself an AIM ( Assembly Manual ).
