Default Looking to add power door locks

My 75 doesn't have power door locks but I'm interested in adding two motors and tips and tricks? I've added power locks to around 15-20 different vehicles, the hardest was on a 68 VW Bug since the doors are so thin. What is the easiest preferred option for a 75 Vette?

I recently added them to my 71.

Here's another idea- I found this on the web and thought it was a great idea as it kept the geometry the same - easy to do- just get a large washer and drill some holes. Not my install but forum member DB's.

Another tip- don't put the relays in the doors- you slam the door and the relays can connect - lock the doors when you are not expecting it- not to mention the water.

There are basically two types of aftermarket lock motors- I went w/ the low profile type pictured below-these are DEI brand.

With fiberglass car, you have to run a good ground wire into the door to wire it up. If you have power windows, you could use the motor ground wires for that [common] ground. While you're in there, clean out the lock mechanism and regrease it and linkage points with [tube] white lithium grease. Those actuators won't do the job with 'sticky' linkage and latch parts.
