I've always wondered , how many of you are retired like me so you have the time to post often on here ? And how many have a job where you have the idle time at your job that you can check in here through out the day without getting in trouble with the boss . The ideal situation is if you own the company and let the other people do the work. but we are not all that lucky. Talking about these cars is an addiction and I know it's hard for some of us to stay away.
I check the forum a couple times a day. Sometimes during working hours. I own my own business and I jump on and off to look at the parts for sale sections.
What I do not do is spend hours surfing the net. Just a quick on and off. I always have too many things to do and not enough time to do them.
I work on the average of about 60 hours a week (yeah I know way to many for someone my age but it's expensive to live in New York). I have no access to the Corvette Forum at work so most of my time here is in the evening after dinner or weekends.

I can relate because I ran my own business for 25 years and there was so much work to do that there was no time for surfing , but I always found enough time to check in here a few times per day. Now that I'm retired I am really addicted but I still occasionally get people coming into the shop wanting some work done so I have to compromise .
I retired the end of December 2012 and didn't find the forum until nearly a year later. Sure glad I did due to the wealth of information on here and all the knowledgeable members. I check the forum at least twice a day.
Hi bj1k,
Tell me about this concept of "letting other people do the work".
Are you saying that actually happens?
I can't even get new grass seed to grow much less get people to do what I'd like them to do.
Regards,
Alan

I was thinking back when I was in my early twenties and would work for construction jobs and the working foreman who was supposed to be working with us would sit in the air conditioned truck on a hot day and watch us work. But this was back before computers etc.
