Loyalty
As I'm flipping through the pages pretending to buy all different makes and models I noticed that there seems to be more Mustang and Camaro's for sale than Vette's.
So I'm curious how would you determine loyalty amongst the varying models out there. Or maybe who has the most die hard fan base.
Most car clubs?
Longest running car clubs?
Sales?
Most write ups in a magazine?
Most different name tags? Shelby GT500, Stingray, Z28 etc....
So to clarify "Are we the most loyal, die hard car enthusiasts with an unnatural infatuation with the best cars" or does that title belong to some other car loyalist group who claim to have the best cars??

Though I am certainly biased, I think the largest following (most clubs, notoriety, fan base, want-to-be buyers, etc) are the Corvette crews. It is unequaled quality and style for the money. The most iconic American sports car.
Watch the auctions; the brand I most often see sold are vettes. 62 years of unbroken production does mean a lot of cars, but that's a lot of cars that have survived because of interest, adoration, quality not just quantity...
They seem on the whole to command the most money, which has attracted a huge following.
I'll plead ignorance here, (perhaps they do) but does the Gremlin have a Museum dedicated specifically to it that draws millions of visitors a year? Does any one brand have two Nationally recognized judging organizations? While Eleanor was beautiful in Gone in 60 seconds, she wasn't starring in Route 66 or (I hesitate to mention it) Corvette Summer. Prince didn't write a song about her.
My two cents.
We need a Gremlin Museum

So do people do body offs on 84-up like the 82- older corvettes?
I ask as I have seen people post that after 82 Corvettes became just cars and used cars that do not hold the ???? what do you call it, the eariler Corvettes have.
Seems more c4's were hacked into street rods than restored...
