Default 454 pulleys

I'm putting a 454 big block in my 79 Corvette will I be able to use any pulleys from my 350 motor ?

My car has power steering and air con, I now have most of the brackets to suit a 454 but haven't ordered any pulleys yet.

The 454 motor im putting in is the 2 bolt main low deck engine with cast heads

Do you have some of the vendor catalogs? The factory Assembly Instruction Manual (AIM)? These docs will identify any common pulleys. Looks like there may be more than one pulley configuration for a BB with AC and PS.. One thing for sure is you'll need a BB idler pulley for AC. Volunteer Vette EN54B $159, Idler pulley stud EN54C $18, and probably install kit EN54D for $16.

Tanunda? I think I remember there were some pretty good wineries there.

None of the pullies or brackets from the SB will work on the BB.

Options are:
1) Call any of the Vette vendors and order up a complete set of repro BB pullies and brackets and be prepared to spend around $1k

2) Go to eBay and start hunting for old original parts.

3) Convert to a serpentine setup off of the 90s 454 trucks.

4) Get a nice front runner serpentine setup from March Performance or Vintage air for $2-3k.

I went with option 1.

I am in the process of doing the same thing a 454 in a 78 vette the only factory pullys that will work are from a 74 454 vette , you might be able to do it for under $700 you will need a power steering pump from the 74, its a tight fit .

When I did the swap in my 77 a few years ago, to cut down on the cost of the brackets and pulleys I went a different route. Used a long pump and put the alt on the other side. It works well.
