I have a 1970 L46 corvette, replaced wiper washer pump with a new one ,it has these weird connectors protruding from the plastic cover ,i cant find any wires to connect to it.Can somebody help with this.
Just to let you know.....the YELLOW wire you found is the SAME YELLOW wire that is in the center of the 3 terminal connector that connects to your wiper motor....and this yellow wire is 12 volts when you have the key ON. SO...be careful that if it is loose with an exposed end on it and it touches a metal part of the engine or wiper motor...you can blow your wiper fuse.
Thank you all so much for your help, got the squarters working and even the ones on the headlights too,now i have to figure out why the wipers only work when iam holding on to the switch, they wont stay on ?
When you say they only work while you hold the switch, what exactly do you mean? does the switch not stay in the on position or do you have to hold some pressure on it (push up or down or something)?

The only way i get them to move is by pushing down on the wiper switch as if iam using the washers, just moving the switch to the different speeds does nothing???

Are you sure your connector to the wiper switch is CORRECTLY installed???? It can only go one way.
Check out Willcox's site and you will more than likely find the test procedure to check your wiper motor. I know it well...but I can not type it all out for you.
You have to make sure that yoru motor is GROUNDED...This is MUST.
THEN....the red wire coming out of the side of your wiper motor that goes to the switch on the cowl so when the wiper door is raised...it closed the contacts and allows 12 volt to go to this wire is also REQUIRED....but do not forget that the large switch under your steering column that looks like a radio **** is a switch that will stop this 12 volts from getting to the wiper motor.....then....on the 3 wire straight connector at your wiper motor will have 12 volts on the center YELLOW WIRE when you key is ON.....then all it is... is making sure that the outer two terminals switch from ground to no ground in a specific series...which is what the wiper motor needs to operate. Quite simple once you know how it works. Also...you have to have good functioning relay that is located under your shift console to make it work.

Incredible!!!!!!! I'm reading all these wiper motor post, looking at troubleshooting charts, etc, etc because my wipers stopped working.
Dub, I forgot all about the radio **** under the steering wheel, thanks! I'd checked the vacuum override...but neglected this switch. The other night at a cruise in my Grandkids were playing in the car and must have turned the ****. On the way home 'raining' no wipers. I feel foolish that I forgot all about that ****. So extra long story short 'Thank You' for this post.
