I agree with you that it was a stupid idea that someone in Harrisburg had to put a Tin Lizzy on all Antique plates but there is a way around it . Most of the guys in my area are taking a picture of their own car and laminating it to protect it and gluing it over the Tin Lizzy. I'm fortunate that I still have the original purple Antique plate on mine.
